About the Author
Dr Gita Arjun is an eminent obstetrician and gynaecologist with a career spanning forty-one years. She is a staunch advocate for women’s health and wellness. She started her practice in 1981, and was one of the first obstetricians in India to encourage husbands to be in the labour room. Passport to a Healthy Pregnancy was first published in 2009 and has been essential reading for new parents ever since. Dr Arjun lives and works in Chennai.
