Gordon E Whitney spent his boyhood in Lillooet, B.C. in the 1930s. Originally established because of the Cariboo Gold Rush, Lillooet was still very much a frontier town. Being several years younger than most of his classmates, he developed a friendship with his mentor, Tom Manson, and masters the art of trout fishing. His memoirs of Lillooet and its colourful townspeople are complemented by his rich, detailed s of the rugged, breathtaking geography of the south Cariboo of Pages: 288Dimensions: 0.6 x 8.5 x 5.51 INPublication Date: June 04, 2020
